a green armor would be this s*** if done pretty much exactly like he describes it.

If they DID make 50k armor (shudder) I would sure hope that they raise the price of FoW to match... FoW is supposed to be the 'hardest' to get... and I dont think they would want to change that.

Realm of Torment armorforge? I hope so. More than 15k+mats... i hope not.

Ok i have been reading this thread and most of you guys have forgotten a basic GW fact. 30k,60k,100k armor would never work as you are limited to 100k on you at one time, so unless you want to make bunch of trips just to get ur armor this wouldn't work.
so my suggestion is this. It is a suggestion that benefits everyone and is realisticly feasible to impliment. 20k armor that way u can get all 5 pieces at one time. Now this is where my idea gets good; In fow at the back u have a fortress that is pretty much empty so u put a armorer there, It is harder to get to so
more people would be willing to go into those areas instead of quitting after forgemaster as they do now.wereas obsidian armor is based on ob shards make the new armor based on ectos. you could setup each piece is translucient like the ghost in fow are. have it be 20k per piece say 500ectos 500 ob shards per piece plus materials. now the way that benefits everyone is those with too much G for brains can have something to save up for. give noobs something to drool over and those of us not interested in crap like that....well being translucient you would be much easier to ignore...

I dont think is stuped man for example i spent more that 200 kurzik keys before i got the drop for the dual gothic axe perfect mods and all in it.

if you conver that it should give you 120k plus the time spent in it id say its ok to pay or sell that kind of stuff.

Besides its not hard to get 100k ( id say 1 day for farming and selling)

ohh and for the topic starter dont you think that Fow armor is more that enough to craft 120 ecto and 120 shards ( 1,260)k just on those materials most of us dont even have that kind of money on us.

id say if you make the things more expensive you will make the online money sellers more rich.

I am against grind as much as the next guy. But adding in new armor similar in the way it is aquired to the FoW armor is a good idea. It's ugly and it's hard to get.

Expensive, hard to aquire armor is like the guy in the city with the new immitation hummer. The closest he's ever gotten to actually using it is that one time when he made a trip into the country and had to drive it on a gravel driveway.

I think that sort of armor is a status symbol. A symbol that says, "Look at me! My manhood is 3 inches long but I have this sweet looking armor to make up for it."

Actually, to be more realistic. It would be something more like "Look at all this time I spent farming to get this armor instead of actually learning how to play the game!"

So, I say. Fire away! Go get your uber expensive armor with absolutely no game-effecting bonus at all. You'll look good as corpse under my foot.

Mehh another "I can't afford it or don't want it so nobody should be able to have it" thread. If you can’t afford it or simply don't want it, then don't buy it. Don't deny others the OPPORTUNITY to DECIDE if they want it. I see a lot of "I can't even afford 15k armor" posts, and have to wonder what that has to do with anything. Almost everyone who says they can't afford it also says that they think expensive armor and/or weapons are a waste of money anyway. Ok so what’s the problem? You don't want it then don't buy it, simple as that. From what I can see in most of these whiney posts is that the truth of it is more like, "I can't afford it but I wish I could and I am jealous of those who can so I want to deny them the ability to get it too. I'll accuse them of being e-bayers, insult their manhood, belittle their skill level, and cry about some fictitious need for grinding in order to get it". I don't have FoW armor, even though I can afford it, simply because I don't like the look and it's far to common. I go with the armor I like the look of regardless of the cost, which right now is 1.5k and some 15k pieces. I can't tell you how many times some lil punk has called me a noob because my ele is decked out in Shing Jea 1.5k armor. WHO CARES what they think? My ele has well over 2 million experience and has more then 97% of both continents explored, several titles, and more rare perfect items then most people will ever see, so who gives a rat's arse what you think of my armor, I LIKE IT. The point is, just because it exists doesn’t mean you have to have it, weather you can afford it or not. Please, enough of this, "I can't afford it so it's a stupid idea" crap already. So far the ONLY reason anyone has given for not wanting different things in the game is that they can't afford them. Sure they've used different words to express that, but all they have realy said is that they can't afford them and don't want anyone to have anything that they can't have themselves. Many of you say that those who "have" are vain, but in reality the ones who say that are the truly vain ones because they would deny everyone else the things that they themselves can't afford. Some of you have said that anyone who wants rare items should go play WoW, well to those people who say that and don't want rare items in the game I say go play checkers on MSN.
